Holy Week in Our Parish

Lenten Penitential Service

Our Lenten Penitential Service will take place on Tuesday 16th April at 7.30 p.m.  There will be an opportunity for individual confession during the service.

Preparation Meetings for the Easter Liturgies

Meetings will take place for all Ministers of the Word and Ministers of the Eucharist involved in this year’s Easter Triduum ceremonies.  All people involved are asked to attend in order to prepare the services with the celebrants.  The meetings will take place straight after the Penitential Service on Tuesday 16th April.

Flowers for the Easter Garden

Each year our Lenten Desert is transformed into an Easter Garden – representing the Resurrection of Jesus.  We would be delighted to receive any donations of plants to assist in this transformation into an Easter Garden.

Tuesday 16th April at 7.30 p.m.: Penitential Service with individual confession. Monday 29th April at 8.00 p.m.: Next Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Meeting. Sunday 12th May at 12.30 p.m.: Celebration of First Holy Communion. Tuesday 14th May at 6.15 p.m.: Next Parish Liturgy Committee Meeting.

Sacrament of First Holy Communion

The children from 2nd Class in Scoil Treasa Naofa, St. Catherine’s School and Griffith Barracks Multi-Denominational School will celebrate the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Sunday 12th May at 12:30 p.m. Mass.

Trócaire Boxes

Trócaire Boxes, in solidarity with the poor, can be returned to the parish during Holy Week, especially from Holy Thursday on, for forwarding to Trócaire  or can be forwarded directly to them.  

New Plaque

More name plates from the pews that were removed some time ago from the back of the Church have been mounted on a new plaque close to the sacristy door.  Please remember those named in your prayers.
