Our Lenten Penitential Service will take place on Tuesday 16th April at 7.30 p.m. There will be an opportunity for individual confession during the service.
Meetings will take place for all Ministers of the Word and Ministers of the Eucharist involved in this year’s Easter Triduum ceremonies. All people involved are asked to attend in order to prepare the services with the celebrants. The meetings will take place straight after the Penitential Service on Tuesday 16th April.
All Ministers of the Word, Ministers of the Eucharist, members of the altar society and cleaners, sacristans, church and street collectors and all other parish volunteers are invited to attend an evening of reflection and prayer to close our Lenten season and prepare our hearts and minds for Easter. A word of congratulations to the children from 2nd class in Scoil Treasa Naofa and those in the First Holy Communion Parish Sacramental Class. They will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Tuesday 9th April. This is part of their faith journey towards First Holy Communion which will be celebrated on Sunday 12th May at 12.30 p.m.
Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parents’ Evening on Monday 8th April at 7:20 p.m. in the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The next preparation meeting for parents and godparents of children that will be baptised in our parish during the month of April will take place on Thursday 4th April at 8.00 p.m. in the Parish House.
The next meeting of the Patricians’ Discussion Group will take place on Wednesday 3rd April at 8 p.m. in the Parish House. The topic is: ‘Risen with Christ’.
