We give you praise, O Lord, for everything that is new and beautiful.

Bless us all as we start this new school year with our friends and teachers.

Help us to make the most of every chance we receive as we start anew.

May we show love to one another and to all that we meet along the way.

Help  us  to  be  aware  of  your  love  shown  to  us  in  the people around us.

Help us to forgive others as you forgive us.

May the new beginning of this year remind us that you give us chances again and again.

Help us to learn to work together.

Help us to listen when we should and to know the best words to speak and when it is better not to speak.

Help our teachers to have patience so that they will help our children in every way possible, and enhance the children’s experience of school.

We  thank  you  for  our  friends;  help  us  to  be  a  good friend to all.

Bless all our parents and help them to be supportive of their children as they return to school.

May our Blessed Mother Mary protect us and help us to live and  learn as best we can, giving  thanks and glory to God as she did.  Amen.
